The quality of Baltic hotels is extremely good.

Vilnius hotels: most hotels are in the Old town, and if outside just a few minutes walk away.

Riga hotels: there are some hotels in the Old Town but most are outside. A 10 to 15 minute walk is not uncommon, but do be aware of those hotels which advertise themselves as central and are in fact over 30 minutes walk from the action.

Tallinn hotels: most of the hotels are just outside the old town but within 10 minutes walk of the main action.
