Why Book with The Dogs Baltics
We have been sending stags to the Baltic region since 2000, not only are we highly experienced in stag weekends we also specialise in the area, so we know all the best places to party and have a great time! Our staff travel to the region monthly and check all our brilliant suppliers and hotels to ensure they are still offering the excellent service we insist on.
Is my money safe?
Yes! We are members of ABTA and we hold an ATOL license. As members of ABTA we have to adhere to a strict code of conduct ensuring you get the best customer service at all times. We also hold a bond that protects all bookings, air packages and accommodation only. This is expensive but worth it as we think is it is important to give you complete peace of mind.
When you're booking your stag weekend don't book directly with the hotels or a supplier abroad as your money will not be protected if they go bust before you go.
Do book with a UK company who is fully licensed. For example if your hotel goes bust before you go, we find another one for you and your money is protected.
Do you need a passport?
Yes. Your passport should be valid for a further 6 months after your return date. If it is not you may be refused entry into the country, so please check.
Do I need a visa?
To visit Estonia (Tallinn), Latvia (Riga) and Lithuania (Vilnius) UK citizens do NOT need a visa. Other foreign nationals are advised to check with the relevant embassies.

What's the weather like?
As a rule of thumb in the winter it is colder than the UK, with snow often from January until late February. In the summer it tends to be hotter than the UK with temperatures in July often topping 35 Celsius.

Do people speak English?
In the cities most people speak good English, especially the young people. Once you venture out into the countryside or to the coast, English is mainly spoken by the young people, older people will know a few words. German is also spoken by many.
How much is...?
Is a pint of beer? - In the cities expect to pay about £1.50
A three course meal - In the cities you can pay anything from £5 - £12 a head - including beer (wine tends to be more expensive but still very reasonable).
Do the clubs have a dress code?
Play it safe and look smart, with smart trousers. Wearing jeans, especially ripped or scruffy might mean you are turned away.
What's the food like?
Great! For excellent value for money you can feast on pork, chicken, sausage, herring, mushrooms and potatoes. In the cities all sorts of tastes are catered for, the portions are good sizes so you will have plenty of fuel for all that hard core shooting or dancing!
Look out for local dishes such as pigs ears (bit chewy) cepelinai (dumpling type thing), blood sausage and the local beaver.
Can I book activities when I'm there?
Yes you can but we do not advise it. Our activites are very popular and get booked up fast so we firmly advise you book at least a month before you depart, otherwise you will not get the slot you want or maybe even the activity. And if you book with us you'll be fully protected with our ABTA license.
Is travel insurance included?
No. We firmly advise all members of your party have individual travel insurance polices.
24 hour contact? What if I have a problem?
You will have a phone number (usually a mobile) of our man on the ground. He will be there to look out for you and your party. Our 'fixers' are highly experienced and will look after you if you experience any problems.
What's the nightlife like?
Brilliant, we will advise you on the clubs to visit, whats hot and whats not. The Balts like to party and will welcome nice well behaved British boys with open arms!
